Ray Graziani - PGA Teaching Pro

Ray’s passion for golf and positive attitude combine to provide exceptional golf instruction. Celebrating his 25th year of personal golf instruction, Ray has begun teaching full time with his company, “The SWING DOCTOR”. He is very excited to introduce his state-of-the-art video swing analysis system which provides instant video feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement. This system provides the option for Ray to digitally download your lesson with additional voice-over analysis to playback at your convenience.
Ray has a special fondness for the Chardonnay Golf Club having worked his way up from the Outside Services to Head Golf Professional, a position he held through the end of 2002. He started his golf career at a high traffic golf course in Ventura, CA, where he earned his PGA Class A Certification. He also held the post of Head Golf Professional at Discovery Bay Country Club in Discovery Bay, CA.
Ray is currently the Head Golf Coach for Justin-Siena High School Boys & Girls Golf Programs.
Ray lives in Napa with his wife Karen, daughter Alexa and son Nathan.

Chandler Helmholz - PGA Teaching Pro

A Bay Area resident for over 30 years, Chandler has 28 years of golf experience with 8 years teaching at the professional level beginning at Green Valley Country Club. Chandler’s teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of a correct grip, posture, and setup while incorporating concepts and ideas regarding swing plane and impact position from the minds of Dave Pelz, Butch Harmon, Bob Toski, Jim Hardy, Martin Chuck, Tim Mahoney, Dave Stockton, and Harvey Penick.
After earning his Class “A” PGA Membership in June 2016, Chandler moved to Scottsdale, AZ to improve his skill set and further refine his teaching philosophy. At Troon North Golf Club, Chandler earned the sole assistant position for Tim Mahoney, PGA, Director of Instruction for Troon Golf, top 50 golf instructor, Golf Digest contributing author, and coach of Tom Purtzer and David Duval. Ultimately, Chandler’s love for the Napa Valley has led him back to the Bay Area to pursue his passion, helping golfer’s play their best.
Chandler teaches using TrackMan 4 technology offering dual camera angles with instant replay of your swing from face-on and down the line. Every shot from your session is saved in your TrackMan account along with all of your videos and TrackMan data. Shot dispersion charts, trajectory lines, and voice over screen cast reviews are also included with every session. Cause and effect is clearly explained using immediate visual feedback. Shawn McEntee - PGA Teaching Pro

Shawn McEntee joined the Chardonnay Golf club instructional staff in January 2012. With a career spanning over 30 years in competitive golf play and over 25 specifically in golf instruction, McEntee has the skills needed to help you or your favorite golfer elevate their game.
As a two-time NCAA “All American” at Cal State Stanislaus, Shawn took his playing skills on the road in 1980 to the various Professional Tours across the country. In the years that followed, Shawn played in over thirty PGA tour events, including the 1989 and 1991 PGA Championship, the 1992 US Open at Pebble Beach. McEntee is a 7-time participant in the AT&T Pro Am and has been honored as both the Northern California PGA & Southern California PGA Player of the year in multiple years. After playing on “tour,” Shawn moved to business side of the game and focused his talents on teaching others to play better, enjoy golf more and develop players. McEntee’s career includes 14 years at historic Pasatiempo Golf Club and other clubs including Coyote Creek Golf Club, LaQuinta Hotel & Spa, and Monterey Peninsula CC. Before coming to Chardonnay, Shawn enjoyed a successful stint as the Head Golf Professional at Marin CC.A native of San Jose, CA, Shawn still loves to play competitive golf and enjoys spending quality time with his wife Stephanie.
